Oct 5, 2020 7:09 AM in response to Ptmellow. Okay I figured out the problem. This apparently changed in iOS 14. To fix this go to settings>screen time>Content & privacy restrictions>iTunes and App Store purchases. Under password required, set that to not required. Problem solved.
